LEGAL & SAFETY
Community Guidelines (including Offline Activity Safety)
These Community Guidelines form part of the Terms of Service. They apply to your text profile information, posts, activities, direct messages, activity groups, and offline interactions arising from the Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with these Guidelines.
1. Community Principles
Interact with others honestly, respectfully, prudently, and lawfully. The Platform provides sports-social and communication tools only; it is not the organiser of an activity or the agent of any participant. Each user must independently assess whether other users, activities, and offline arrangements are reliable, safe, and appropriate.
Public text content in the Service may be viewed by other users. Do not publish private, sensitive, or otherwise confidential information, and do not publish another person’s personal information without that person’s consent.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You must not publish, distribute, organise, facilitate, or engage in any of the following:
- unlawful, fraudulent, false, misleading, impersonating, or rights-infringing content or activities;
- child sexual exploitation and abuse material, or any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, grooms, recruits, or endangers a minor;
- pornography, sexually explicit content, prostitution or sexual services, solicitation of relationships or sexual services in exchange for money or benefits, or non-consensual sexual advances or sexual harassment;
- hate, discrimination, threats, violence, intimidation, stalking, bullying, abuse, harassment, or incitement to harm another person;
- advocacy or organisation of self-harm, harm to others, or dangerous unlawful activities;
- disclosure, solicitation, sale, tracking, or misuse of another person’s contact details, home address, precise location, identification information, health information, or other private information;
- spam, malicious links, phishing, scams, pyramid schemes, gambling, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitation;
- false or misleading statements about an activity’s time, location, headcount, cost, venue, eligibility requirements, risks, or organiser identity;
- evading age restrictions, impersonating a minor, or assisting a minor in using the Service; or
- conduct that interferes with the Service, security mechanisms, or another person’s normal use of the Service.
3. Publishing and Participating in Activities
When publishing an activity, accurately and clearly state the sport, time, location, participation requirements, and any potential fees or risks. Do not use an activity for illegal, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or commercially manipulative purposes.
Before joining an activity, independently assess your physical condition, athletic ability, venue conditions, weather, transport, and other risks. If you are unwell, injured, or unsure whether participation is appropriate, do not participate and seek professional advice yourself.
Activity creators may review requests to join and update, cancel, or modify activities, but must not, without good reason, proactively remove members whose participation has already been confirmed. Participants may leave an activity themselves. The Platform may take action against activities, content, or accounts for safety or policy-violation reasons.
Do not force, coerce, harass, or pressure another person to join an activity, consume alcohol, spend money, conduct a private transaction, share private information, or go to an unagreed location.
In an emergency or where immediate assistance is needed, contact local emergency services first. In-app reporting is not a substitute for emergency assistance.
4. Communication and Privacy Boundaries
Respect other persons’ refusals, boundaries, and privacy. Do not repeatedly send unwanted messages, solicit private information, or use an activity or group to pressure another person.
Direct messages and activity groups may be used only for normal communications. Do not use them for harassment, threats, fraud, unlawful transactions, or distribution of content prohibited by these Guidelines.
Do not use another person’s content viewed through the Service for harassment, public shaming or exposure, commercial marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Service.
5. Reporting and Blocking
- If you find a post, activity, direct message, group message, or user that violates the rules, submit a report using the in-app reporting function. Select the appropriate reason and provide the necessary details.
- The Platform will respond to the report or commence handling it within five business days after receipt. This does not mean that every matter will be resolved within five business days. Reports involving the safety of a minor, child sexual exploitation and abuse material (CSAM), threats of violence, or any other urgent risk are prioritised above other reports and handled as soon as reasonably possible after we become aware of them. They are not subject to the time limit above.
- You may block a specific user. Blocking is mutual: neither of you can send the other direct messages, because messages are rejected at the messaging-service level rather than merely hidden, and each other’s activities, posts, and comments are removed from your respective feeds. It does not remove existing activity relationships or activity-group membership — you both remain participants in any shared activity group. You can unblock at any time in Settings → Blocked accounts.
- For reported content, users, or activities, the Platform may remove, restrict, suspend, or ban them, or take other measures necessary and permitted by law.
6. Enforcement
A breach of these Guidelines may result in content removal, activity restrictions, account suspension, or account banning. The Platform will act based on reports, available information, and safety risks, but does not guarantee that it will monitor or pre-screen all User Content individually.
If you identify a potential safety risk involving a minor, child sexual exploitation and abuse material, or related conduct, immediately submit a report through the in-app reporting function and consult the Minor and Child Safety Policy.
